Tuition and Fee's
Registration Fee’s and Weekly Tuition for Alvarado, Apache, Chelwood, Comanche, Coronado, Corrales, Oñate, Helen Cordero/Edward Gonzales, Lew Wallace, and Reginald Chavez. Prices vary at each school based on school release time.
Community For Learning accepts payments through Procare using your bank account/debit card/credit card that you link to your account. Please download the Procare app on your phone or access it through your computer. Payments must be made every week prior to the week beginning. Site Coordinators will be billing on Fridays for the following week. If your balance goes past Tuesday your child may not return to program until balance is paid.
Registration Fee- $25 per child. If your child is on a child care contract through ECECD there is no registration fee.
Pricing for PM Programs:
DROP IN For All Schools: (1-2 DAYS): $20 per day, per child. On the third day it is considered a full week. Drop in rate is the same at all fee based schools.
Alvarado, Apache, Chelwood, Comanche, Corrales, Coronado and Oñate:
WEEKLY: (3+ days a week): $50 per child, any additional sibling is $45 per week.
Helen Cordero/Edward Gonzales, Lew Wallace:
WEEKLY: (3+ days a week): $40 per child, any additional sibling is $35 per week.
Reginald Chavez: Free PM for all students
Pricing for AM Programs:
No drop in or sibling discounts, 1-5 days is a week tuition.
Helen Cordero/Edward Gonzales, Lew Wallace and Reginald Chavez:
$30 per child, per week.
Coronado
$20 per child, per week.
Tuition for Albuquerque Sign Language Academy, Cochiti ES, Hodgin ES, & McKinley MS Only.
Free after-school program- Funded by NM Public Education Department through 21st Century Community Learning Grant (US Department of Education Grant.
Financial Assistance
Child Care Assistance is available–
If you qualify for financial assistance your child will receive a contract through ECECD and you will not have a weekly payment. You can check your eligibility using the “check your assistance eligibility” tab above. You will have two weeks to apply from when your child first starts program, if you don’t have a contract in place after two weeks you will be required to pay our weekly fee’s. If you receive a contract after you paid that’s dated for time when payments were made you will be refunded.
Hours of Operation
Before-School Program (where applicable): 7AM – school start time.
After-School Program: School dismissal – until 6 PM.
We are closed:
Community For Learning follows the calendars for each school our program is located at. If the day school is closed AM and PM programs are closed.
Snow Days/Emergency Closing: Community For Learning will follow the decision and schedule of APS on snow days. When school is delayed or canceled because of snow or an emergency, the after school program will follow the same schedule. When there is a morning delay due to weather, the before school program will be cancelled.
